Henderson Police Nab Armed Bank Robbery Duo

Henderson law enforcement has once again demonstrated that crime will not go unpunished. Two individuals accused of carrying out a string of armed bank robberies were taken into custody, ending a brief but reckless crime spree that put innocent lives at risk.

Henderson Police arrested 23-year-old Denzel Jones and 21-year-old Trashauna Outlaw on Saturday, booking them on multiple serious charges, including robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery. Each faces a bond set at $170,000.

The arrests come after two brazen armed robberies just days apart. The first took place on January 18 at a Chase Bank on North Stephanie Street, where police say a male suspect, armed with a handgun, stormed the building before escaping in a getaway vehicle. A week later, another robbery was reported at the America First Credit Union on Eastern Avenue, roughly five miles away, with a suspect matching the same description.

While no injuries were reported, the reckless disregard for public safety in both cases prompted a swift and coordinated response from law enforcement. Henderson police, in collaboration with the FBI, North Las Vegas Police Department, and Metro Police, worked diligently to track down and apprehend the suspects.

As communities continue to see an uptick in bold criminal acts, these arrests serve as a reminder that law enforcement remains vigilant in protecting citizens. Criminals who think they can terrorize neighborhoods and disrupt the lives of hardworking Americans should think again—law and order still matter.
