LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) intends to begin recruiting in Southern California early next year.
In January, the agency will make stops in San Diego and Huntington Beach to perform written and fitness testing for LVMPD Police and Corrections officer positions.
The tests will be accessible to anybody aged 21 and above who wants to start a career with the LVMPD.
Their first visit in San Diego will be at 9665 Granite Ridge Drive on Friday, January 20, 2023.
Written exams will be offered at 1:30 p.m. or 6 p.m., with fitness tests available beginning at 4 p.m.
They will subsequently go to Hungititon Beach on Saturday, January 21, 2023, to attend Golden West College.
Written tests will begin at 11 a.m., followed by fitness testing at 1 p.m.
Walk-ins will be accepted, however individuals wishing to attend may browse both prison and police career ads online.
