Las Vegas continues to solidify its position as a major player in the world of sports entertainment. National Hockey League (NHL) Commissioner Gary Bettman just confirmed that the highly anticipated 2024 NHL Draft will be held at the ultra-modern Sphere complex on Friday, June 28th, and Saturday, June 29th.
This news comes on the heels of previous reports detailing a $500,000 agreement between the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and the NHL to secure the event for the city.
Marking a significant milestone for both the NHL and Las Vegas, this draft will be the first of its kind in Sin City. It will also be the first-ever televised live event from the Sphere, which only opened its doors to the public last September.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman expressed his excitement in a press release, stating, “Together with the amazing team at Sphere, we plan to deliver an NHL Draft like no other, introducing the bright future of hockey in an innovative and exhilarating setting.”
For hockey fans eager to witness this historic event, tickets for the 2024 NHL Draft will go on sale starting May 9th at 10 am PST through Ticketmaster. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this electrifying spectacle in the heart of Las Vegas!
