LAS VEGAS- Later this week, motorists on the Las Vegas Strip will face significant lane restrictions.
According to Clark County authorities, extensive lane closures will occur along this area of the Strip from 2 a.m. on Thursday to 2 a.m. on Friday to permit private property owners employing a crane to install equipment for a new company.
The east side of Las Vegas Boulevard will be blocked to all traffic at the junction of Las Vegas Boulevard and Park Avenue, and both northbound and southbound traffic will be transferred to the west side of the road.
There will be one lane available for northbound traffic and three for southbound traffic in this location between Park and Aria Drive.
Drivers are urged to avoid Las Vegas Boulevard between Tropicana Avenue and Flamingo Road during that time period due to lane cutbacks, closures, and changes.
