LAS VEGAS- People enjoy flying through Las Vegas.
According to J.D. Power, the city’s international airport is in the top five in North America in terms of customer satisfaction.
According to the report, air traveler satisfaction peaked in 2021, but has since dropped due to increasing travel volumes and workforce shortages.
Nonetheless, Harry Reid International Airport was ranked fifth among “giant airports” in the 2022 North American Airport Satisfaction Study, trailing Minneapolis-Saint Paul, San Francisco, Detroit Metropolitan, and JFK in New York.
According to J.D. Power, the research examined six elements in order of importance: terminal facilities, airport arrival/departure, baggage claim, security check, check-in/baggage check, and food, beverage, and retail.
Mega airports are those that have 33 million or more passengers each year.
The analysis is based on more than 26,000 completed questionnaires from Americans and Canadians who have recently flown through at least one airport.
