LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Late last year, a woman was allegedly fatally stabbed; a suspect is in police custody on that charge. Felicia Smith, age 41, was found after a family member visited her residence in December because the victim couldn’t be reached.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the Criminal Apprehension Team, a multi-jurisdictional task group, detained 33-year-old Michael Ralston on Wednesday, January 18.
On December 28, 2022, the woman’s body was discovered in a bedroom closet. She appeared to have been stabbed, according to the police, and was declared dead on the spot.
According to the inquiry, the woman was dropped off at her apartment on W by a relative. The previous evening, Charleston Boulevard ran between Rainbow Boulevard and Buffalo Drive. The next day, when they were unable to contact her, her family agreed that someone should go by her apartment to see how she was doing.
