LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Moments of Blessings House of Prayer, located near East Lake Mead and Nellis, has been highlighted. For many years, the church has acted as a free food distribution center. On Mondays, the church provides free food.
“It has been really tough. And in the last couple of months, it has gotten worse,” said Shirley Collier with the church.
According to Shirley Collier, even toy contributions are down. On Fridays, the church intends to host a musical event where people will be fed. And Shirley Collier’s husband, the church bishop, will distribute toys. She is concerned that some children may not receive a present for Christmas and is encouraging the public to contribute items.
Let us do it for the sake of the children. It is not their fault that we are going through what we are because they do not comprehend inflation. They are perplexed as to why their mother does not put something beneath the tree for them. They are perplexed as to why there is no food on the table. As a result, we must step up and make it feasible for them,” Collier explained.
She adds that the church would also take financial gifts, allowing a group of individuals to go out and buy presents for the Friday celebration, which is open to the public. Collier advises people to phone beforehand so that someone is available at the church to take the contribution.
