LAS VEGAS – Gov. Joe Lombardo’s office reported Saturday morning that a pipeline that was shut down due to a leak is undergoing repairs and could begin distributing petroleum to Southern Nevada by Saturday afternoon.
Here is Lombardo’s statement:
“This morning, Kinder Morgan notified us that they had successfully isolated the source of the leak in their pipeline at their Watson Station in Long Beach, California. Kinder Morgan has begun restarting the pipeline and anticipates that normal operations will resume by this afternoon. As the pipeline is scheduled to be fully functioning by this evening, I advise Las Vegas residents once more to refrain from panic fuel purchases.”
