Man Arrested in Connection With Fatal Stabbing in Dolan Springs
LAS VEGAS – In connection with a killing in Mohave County, a Las Vegas man was detained.
Felipe Santaolalla, 46, of Las Vegas, was detained on Nov. 30 in the 15000 block of N. Holly Drive in Dolan Springs, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police detained Santaolalla on December 5.
Police were called to the area for a shooting investigation and discovered several people attempting to help the victim. Firefighters responded to assist the victim, but he died, according to authorities. David Charles Farris, 44, of White Hills, was identified as the victim.
Investigators eventually learned Santaolalla was a friend of the victim, according to authorities. According to MCSO, the motive for the shooting is still being investigated.
