Man Says Las Vegas Woman Fell Out of Moving Car Before Her Death

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – According to officials, a man apprehended Tuesday is accused with the kidnapping and murder of a Las Vegas lady in November of last year.

Ferrari Busby, 37, is being jailed without bail after a court appearance on Thursday.

According to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrest record, police responded to a 911 call reporting a lady being beaten by a suspect, subsequently identified as Busby, near East Reno Avenue and Tamarus Street at 6:36 p.m. on Nov. 26.

The anonymous caller stated that they could hear the woman screaming but no one came to her rescue.

A suspect in the November death of a woman was found in a Las Vegas hospital

The woman said earlier that day, a man she knew as “Ant” had asked if he could borrow her car and she let him. He returned later and she came out to the car to see the victim inside, who she did not know, the report says.

“Ant told [the woman] he got into the fight with [the victim] and she jumped out of the car. He did not tell her what the fight was about or who the [the victim] was,” the report states.

An autopsy of the victim later revealed her identity as Jashmine Wilson. The victim’s family told police that Busby was her boyfriend.

Police were able to obtain exterior camera footage from a home in the area, which showed Wilson falling out of a car driven by Busby, hitting the ground and remaining motionless, according to the report.

According to the allegation, after falling out of the vehicle, Busby parked the car, pulled the woman about 70 feet, and placed her in the backseat.

According to the report, Busby phoned the police detective multiple times on November 29. Wilson, according to Busby, was his fiancee, and they had known each other for two years.

Busby told police that on the night of November 26, Wilson accused him of seeing other women when they were driving to Olive Garden for supper.

He said that he eventually pulled the vehicle over and that the victim proceeded to beat him outside the car. When Busby informed authorities that Wilson leapt out of the car while he was driving at 40 mph, the duo got back in the car and resumed driving.

Busby told authorities he returned the victim to the car but couldn’t explain why he didn’t contact 911.

He subsequently drove to a friend’s house, took her car, and began driving to the hospital, according to authorities. He did, however, tell cops that he got out of the car before his companion dropped Wilson off at Sunrise Hospital.

Busby’s next court appearance is scheduled on Feb. 9, according to court records.
