LAS VEGAS – After almost 20 years of helping people in Las Vegas, a non-profit medical supply store may be about to close.
The MedTyme store is near Rancho and Jones.
Medtyme is near the intersection of Rancho and Jones. Its founder, Rosalind Jamerson, says that donations and her own money have kept it going.
People can buy things at the medical supply store that they might not be able to buy otherwise, like wheelchairs, hospital beds, and even food.
Medtyme also has services for notaries and helps people who are homeless.
The owner said that she needs help paying the rent right now.
Jamerson said, “I help the most vulnerable people, like seniors and low-income families, and when the doors close, people suffer.”
Rosalind Jamerson, who started Medtyme, has set up a GoFundMe account with more information for people who want to donate.
