LAS VEGAS – MGM Resorts is gradually recovering from the recent cyberattack that affected several of its systems, but guests are still experiencing some disruptions.
Most slot machines are now operational, although some require visitors to notify attendants for cashouts.
Guests have reported varying wait times, with some moved to other properties like the Cosmopolitan.
MGM continues to run its operations while addressing the reported issues.
The ransomware group “ALPHV” claimed responsibility for the attack, and MGM is investigating any potential exposure of customer data.
The company’s website is partially operational, allowing for restaurant reservations, spa appointments, and show ticket purchases, but direct hotel reservation booking remains unavailable.
