LAS VEGAS- A motorcycle and a pickup vehicle collided in the northwest Las Vegas valley Friday morning, killing one person.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the collision occurred shortly before 10 a.m. at Centennial Parkway and Hualapai Way.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at UMC, according to authorities.
Roads in the region are blocked as LVMPD examines the collision.
Further details were not immediately available.
This is the second traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas valley on Friday. The first fatality occurred near the intersection of Carey Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard in North Las Vegas.
It’s also the second catastrophic crash involving a motorcycle, following another near Flamingo and Sandhill roads.
