LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Mt. Charleston is alerting residents that parking typically fills up before lunchtime during winter break.
When roads and parking are full, only vehicles with reservations for Lee Canyon will be permitted through, according to a tweet from Mt. Charleston.
According to the report, these conditions “will most likely occur daily” for the following two weeks. Those wishing to visit the mountain should arrive by 9 a.m. or risk having your back turned.
In reaction to the tweet, one Twitter user stated that they attempted to visit on Saturday but were turned away since guests had to either have a ski pass or be a resident.
According to Mt. Charleston, folks can view the webpage before going up the mountain. https://www.gomtcharleston.com/snow-season/ has information in both English and Spanish to assist you plan your vacation.
