In a heartwarming act of compassion, Nevada Highway Patrol troopers, with the aid of good Samaritans, rescued three German shepherds found wandering on the northern 215 Beltway near Jones Boulevard on Monday night. The Highway Patrol shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) early Tuesday morning.
The three lost dogs were safely transported to the Animal Foundation, where they are currently being cared for. The Highway Patrol hoped the dogs would soon be reunited with their owners.
This incident is a reminder that the Nevada Highway Patrol not only protects human lives but also extends its care to animals in need. It also emphasizes the importance of community involvement and the willingness of good Samaritans to step up and assist in such situations.
The Animal Foundation is currently working to identify the owners of these German shepherds. Please contact the Animal Foundation directly if you have any information about these dogs or their owners.
