A house party in North Las Vegas turned tragic early Sunday morning when gunfire erupted, leaving one man dead and two others injured.
According to the North Las Vegas Police Department (NLVPD), officers responded to reports of a shooting at a large party in the 3600 block of Coran Lane around 12:41 a.m. on August 4th. Upon arrival, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds: two adult males in their mid-20s and a 16-year-old male.
Both adult victims were rushed to University Medical Center Trauma Hospital. Sadly, one of the men, who was initially in critical condition, succumbed to his injuries. The other adult male sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The teenage victim was transported to UMC Pediatrics Hospital in critical condition.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. NLVPD detectives believe the incident to be isolated and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
