According to police, a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car on a North Las Vegas street.
The crash occurred about 6:41 a.m. North Las Vegas Police Sgt. Jeff Wall said the incident happened near Carey Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.
The pedestrian, described as an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to Wall.
The driver, a male teenager, remained at the site. According to Wall, the individual has been apprehended, although it is unknown whether he is facing any charges.
The NLVPD’s fatal crash investigators are on the scene.
