Police Arrest Suspect in Fatal East Valley Parking Lot Shooting
A confrontation between two guys in an east valley parking lot escalated into gunfire, killing one.
Joshua Steffen, 18, was arrested by Las Vegas Metro police on Wednesday, Nov. 30, and his arrest was reported Monday.
Steffen and another guy were involved in an argument, according to police, which resulted in Steffen allegedly shooting the victim before fleeing the scene.
Metro got a call of a shooting near the 2600 block of Los Feliz Street at 1 a.m. on Oct. 18. According to police, officers arrived to find a man in a parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound. The individual was brought to University Medical Center and pronounced deceased.
Steffen was arrested and placed into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of open murder with a dangerous weapon.
