LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – In connection with the discovery of human remains in a barrel in Las Vegas last month, authorities say a second suspect has been detained on suspicion of murder.
Angelica Hudson, 30, was arrested on Wednesday, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Her next court date is set on December 13.
No more information about Hudson’s involvement was provided.
The remains were discovered on Tuesday, Nov. 29, near Palm Street and Quail Avenue, according to police. Rene Olmos Enriquez Jr., 39, was recognized as the deceased by the coroner’s office.
According to LVMPD, Enriquez Jr. was reported missing on Nov. 3, and police named Ryan Bentley, 43, as a suspect.
Bentley was arrested on suspicion of open murder that Tuesday night. No other information has been supplied, and the LVMPD has declined to disclose Bentley’s arrest report, citing an ongoing investigation.
He is being jailed without bail on an open murder accusation. His next court appearance is scheduled on December 19.
