LAS VEGAS – Multiple individuals were rushed to the hospital following a collision involving six vehicles that occurred close to the North Las Vegas Airport on Tuesday evening.
The incident took place around 6 p.m. when law enforcement reported that the operator of a sedan was heading west on Lake Mead Boulevard and rapidly approaching Decatur Boulevard.
As a result of the sedan driver’s actions, the vehicle collided with an SUV, causing the sedan to flip over and resulting in a chain reaction involving a total of six automobiles.
Fortunately, the injuries of those transported to UMC were non-life-threatening.
It is currently unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
As of now, westbound Lake Mead Boulevard near Decatur Boulevard is closed, while all other streets remain open.
