A fire ripped through a south Las Vegas valley home on Saturday evening, displacing a family of four and tragically claiming the life of their dog.
Firefighters Battle Blaze:
- The Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) responded to the blaze on the 3300 block of Palio Avenue near Starr Avenue and Dean Martin Drive around 7:20 pm on March 17th, 2024.
- Arriving crews encountered heavy fire emanating from both the garage and the front door of the residence.
- A search of the house revealed a deceased dog on the second floor.
Swift Response, No Human Injuries:
- Firefighters successfully extinguished the flames within 20 minutes, preventing further damage and injury.
- Thankfully, no firefighters or residents were reported injured in the incident.

- The fire rendered the home uninhabitable, displacing two adults and two children.
