LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – A shooting early on Thursday is the subject of an investigation by the Henderson Police Department.
The incident took place in the 400 block of Tranquil Peak Court around 3 a.m., according to police.
The preliminary investigation, according to the police, indicates that two Black men “made forced entry into the victim’s residence.” According to police, the victim confronted the suspects, which resulted in a firefight.
According to the authorities, the suspects left the scene before the police arrived.
The victim was found with what appeared to be a gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the police.
According to the police, they believe this to be a “targeted incident.”
No additional details will be provided at this time, according to authorities, who state that the investigation is still ongoing.
