LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – An 18-year-old died in a T-bone accident on a North Las Vegas roadway late Sunday night, according to police.
The two-vehicle collision was reported at 11:24 p.m. at the N T junction 5th Street and San Miguel Avenue, said North Las Vegas Police Sgt. Jeff Wall in an email.
According to Wall, police believe a silver Honda sedan was traveling east on San Miguel and a gray Jeep SUV was traveling north on 5th Street.
The Honda’s driver, a 16-year-old unlicensed female, failed to slow down at the stop sign in San Miguel and was hit by the Jeep.
According to Wall, the front-seat passenger in the Honda was brought to UMC and pronounced deceased.
There was no other information offered about the crash. The identify of the 18-year-old slain will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
