LAS VEGAS – Metro police have apprehended a 17-year-old girl following the shooting death of a man on Thursday morning along the Las Vegas Strip.
Authorities responded to a call at approximately 10:18 a.m. in the 3900 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man with a gunshot wound. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Mandalay Bay Road.
The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed by the police, has been taken into custody and booked into Clark County Juvenile Hall on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release further details regarding the victim’s identity, as well as the cause and manner of death.
