The Pilot Killed in Sunday’s Reno Air Races Tragedy Was an Executive With a Henderson-Based Company

LAS VEGAS -On Sunday, the pilot who died in a crash during the championship round of the Reno Air Races was found to be a company executive from Henderson.

Aaron Hogue, 61 years old and living in Paso Robles, California, was a managing owner of Hogue Inc., which makes gun parts and knives.

On September 18, Hogue was flying an L-29 Super Delfin when it crashed on the third of six laps of the Jet Gold race.
