LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – After the Christmas season, the busy Downtown Las Vegas region will continue to alter as various traffic closures go into place in the new year.
The Arts District’s First Friday is a monthly art, music, and food festival. The closures will begin at 5 p.m. on Jan. 6. and will open again at 11 p.m.
Boulder to Hoover avenues, Art Way to First Street, and Coolidge Avenue from Main Street to Casino Center Boulevard will all be closed.
The annual procession honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy will take place on January 16, 2023. Road closures will begin at 6 a.m. and will open again at 4 p.m.
Fourth Street from Charleston Boulevard to Stewart Avenue, Third Street from Garces to Coolidge Avenues, and all side streets in between will be closed.
On Saturday, Jan. 28, the 12th annual Spring Festival procession to celebrate Chinese New Year will take place. All road closures will begin at 8 a.m. and will open again at 1 p.m.
Fremont Street from Maryland Parkway to Sixth Street and all streets in between will be closed.
