LAS VEGAS – On Tuesday night, a shooting occurred in an apartment complex located in the southeast Las Vegas Valley.
As per the Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Jason Johansson, the incident happened at around 6 p.m. when the police received a report of the shooting.
The victims were two boys, both under the age of 10, who were inside the apartment with their parents.
Unfortunately, one of the boys died after being hit by a gunshot that came from a neighboring apartment through the wall. The other boy was also shot in the leg and taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
The police do not believe that the apartment was targeted and no suspects have been arrested yet.
The incident is still under investigation.
