LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Two drivers who shown symptoms of intoxication following a fatal incident early Wednesday morning are now facing prosecution.
The collision occurred at 1:06 a.m. near the crossroads of E. McLeod Drive and Sahara Avenue.
Kenneth Kaminski, 35, was driving a Hyundai Accent south on McLeod when he collided with Taurean Henderson, 37, who was driving an eastbound Ford Mustang on Sahara, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan police. Both autos collided with an unattended parked car.
Henderson’s Mustang had a passenger who subsequently died at Sunrise Hospital. Both drivers were also taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Kaminski is accused with DUI causing serious bodily harm and violating his probation. Kaminski has previous charges dating back to 2006 for attempted robbery, burglary, reckless driving, drug trafficking, sexual assault, and lewdness against a child, according to court documents.
Taurean Henderson, 37, is charged with DUI causing serious bodily harm, driving an unregistered car, driving without a license, and driving without proof of insurance.
Both men are due to appear in court on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
