The U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect accused of robbing a letter carrier in late April.

The incident occurred around 12:54 p.m. on Monday, April 29th, at 7627 Lone Tree Peak Street near the intersection of N. Hualapai Way and Farm Road in Las Vegas, Nevada.

USPIS is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. All information provided by the public will be kept strictly confidential.

“The U.S. Postal Inspection Service takes the safety of USPS employees seriously,” USPIS officials emphasized. Robbing a postal worker is a federal offense, and upon conviction, the perpetrator could face a sentence of up to 25 years in prison.

USPIS reminds the public to take no action themselves to apprehend the suspect.
