According to authorities, one person was killed and another was injured in a single-vehicle incident in the northwest Las Vegas valley on Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred shortly before 6:40 a.m. According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the incident occurred on Centennial Center Boulevard, just north of Ann Road.
According to authorities, a vehicle carrying a driver and a passenger collided with a tree.
One person died, while another was transported to the hospital. Police were unable to determine who was driving and who was a passenger right away.
Centennial Center is blocked in both directions for investigation.
