LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – The annual Hanukkah menorah lighting will take place at several places around the Las Vegas valley.

At 5 p.m., a menorah will be lit at the Clark County Government Center. Wednesday, December 21, with a performance by the Dancing Dreidels.

There is also a Jewish Nevada festival at Downtown Summerlin that includes a menorah lighting, entertainment, and activities for the entire family. At the Rock Rink, there will be a picture booth, jelly doughnuts, hot chocolate, and even ice skating.

Hanukkah began on December 18 and will end on December 26. It’s traditionally a time for giving and receiving, with presents being exchanged on each of the eight nights.

The children’s activities begin at 4 p.m. with the lighting of the menorah at 5 p.m. It takes place on Park Centre Drive in Downtown Summerlin, between H&M and Mora Creamery.
