NEVADA – A 14-year-old girl has been charged with murder in connection to the stabbing death of another 14-year-old girl in the North Valleys area of Reno, Nevada on Sunday.
According to the Reno Police Department, the suspect has been charged with “challenge to fight with a deadly weapon” and “open murder”.
The incident began as a fight between the two girls, which led to the victim being taken to a nearby home where she later died from a stab wound to the chest.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday, along with a 15-year-old boy who was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
The victim’s mother has started a GoFundMe campaign seeking justice for her daughter.
