NEVADA – After crashing into the back of a stalled vehicle in Sparks on Monday night, two passengers were taken to a local hospital.
Around 4:30 p.m., the incident occurred near Sparks Blvd. and Shadow Lane.
According to police, the driver of the vehicle that struck the vehicle on the shoulder was unaware that the vehicle had stuck.
The passenger in the moving vehicle was also not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident and went partially through the windshield, according to police.
The driver and a passenger in the moving vehicle were both sent to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The passengers in the stalled vehicle were not injured.
Roads in the region were temporarily closed but have now reopened.
