NEVADA – An abandoned home in Panther Valley was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon.
At around 4:20 p.m., the Reno Fire Department responded to 6880 N. Virginia St., where an abandoned home was on fire. The structure was completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
There were no injuries among the firefighters, however one individual was brought to the hospital for probable smoke inhalation.
Seven fire engines and 26 firefighters were dispatched.
