NEVADA – Fire crews have effectively contained a small wildfire that ignited behind the Motel 6 on Highway 50 in South Lake Tahoe. The fire broke out at approximately 9 a.m. on Monday, prompting an immediate response from emergency personnel.
Thanks to the swift actions of firefighters from the U.S. Forest Service and local agencies, forward progress of the wildfire has been halted. Crews remain at the scene to ensure full extinguishment and to address any potential hotspots.
