RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – A section of Touchdown Drive in Sparks will be closed up for the construction of a gas line along the route from Homerun Drive to Park Mesa Way.

Starting on Sunday, a stretch of Touchdown Drive will be blocked, and anyone who want to reach the adjoining Golden Eagle Regional Park will be told to use Homerun Drive instead.

The junction of Vista Boulevard and Homerun Drive will be enlarged and extended to facilitate traffic flow as part of later phases of the project. The junction of Homerun Drive and Touchdown Drive will also receive improvements.

Starting at seven in the morning, construction will begin. to 7:00 p.m. every day and on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. as required, until 5:00 p.m. The project is anticipated to be finished in its entirety by mid-April after completing the first of its three phases by the end of February.
