NEVADA – Actor Jeremy Renner has shared a video on social media that shows him taking significant strides on his road to recovery after a snowplow accident left him with multiple injuries earlier this year. Renner, a two-time Oscar nominee, posted the video on Sunday, March 26, showing him walking on an anti-gravity treadmill – the first time he has been seen walking since the traumatic incident.
Renner captioned the post on his Instagram story, “Now is the time for my body to rest and recover from my will.” He added on Twitter that he is now looking for “other things” to occupy his time, allowing his body to continue its recovery.
The “Hawkeye” actor suffered more than 30 bone fractures after being run over by his PistenBully snowcat on New Year’s Day while he was helping a stranded family member on his property near Reno, Nevada.
Renner has been keeping fans updated on his progress since the accident, sharing regular updates on social media. The latest video offers an encouraging sign of his ongoing recovery, and fans will no doubt be pleased to see the actor taking such positive steps.
