SPARKS, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – A man is in custody following a fight in Sparks on Thursday evening that took one person to the hospital.
On Oct. 13, about 5:45 p.m., Sparks Police officers responded to the 400 block of Michele Way for a complaint of a male who had been stabbed. Officers discovered two individuals who had been involved in a fight with a knife and a hammer.
Officers determined the fight was the result of a domestic disagreement involving a third person over the course of the inquiry. The victim had non-life threatening injuries and was sent to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect, later identified as Dariek Bill, was detained without incident and charged with battery with a lethal weapon.
According to authorities, there is no known threat to the public and no outstanding suspects.
