Mosquito Fire Has Lowered Washoe County’s Air Quality

On September 7, a view of the Mosquito Fire from the incident command station on Foresthill Road (Placer County Sheriff's Office).

Wednesday evening, the smoke from the Mosquito Fire is moving east and making the air in Washoe County less healthy.

The Washoe County Air Quality Management Division says that the air quality in the Reno-Sparks area will be moderate to unhealthy.
