NEVADA – The Nevada State Police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred on Highway 50 on Wednesday morning.
At the intersection of eastbound U.S. 50 and Sheckler, two cars were engaged in a collision: an automobile and a FedEx truck with many trailers.
The preliminary investigation conducted by the Nevada State Police indicates that the first vehicle ran a red light and collided with the FedEx truck and trailer.
The driver of the vehicle, only known as an adult male, perished in the collision. The FedEx truck driver is okay, according to Nevada State Police.
The accident temporarily closed certain routes in the region, which are now reopened.
