One Died in a Near Head-on Crash on US-50 in Fallon on Sunday
NEVADA – One individual was killed in a near head-on collision on US-50 in Fallon on Sunday afternoon, according to the Nevada State Police.
The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. local time on US-50 near South Downs Lane.
Utility truck traveling west on US-50 in Nevada had a tire blowout, according to the Nevada State Police.
A black automobile was virtually head-on when the truck veered across the center line and collided with it.
The police determined that the driver of the black automobile was dead at the scene.
Although they are still looking into the collision, officials have ruled out impairment as a contributing factor.
