RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – One individual was taken to the hospital early Thursday morning after being shot by an officer.
At 7:22 a.m., Courthouse Bailiffs and the Reno Police Department responded to a report of an armed suspect and shots fired.
According to RPD, the suspect began at the River Walk theater and proceeded to the courtroom. Officers returned fire, and the injured suspect was transferred to a nearby hospital.
Arlington Avenue, First Street, Wingfield Park, and Island Avenue were all blocked for a few hours following the incident.
The inquiry will be taken up by the Sparks Police Department.

The shooter was my friend! He went thru a lot of trauma in his first twenty years of life. he lost his parents at a very young age. what he did was wrong and im not making his bad life as an excuse, but he was still my friend. he will be missed.
