NEVADA – On Sunday morning, a single car crashed in the eastbound lane of Highway 50 West near Golf Club Drive. The Nevada State Police, the Carson City Fire Department, and the sheriff’s deputies all went to the scene.
Rescue workers at the scene of the accident, which happened around 9 a.m., said that an SUV hit a guard rail and then went down a 40- to 50-foot slope. The driver was able to get out of the car on his or her own, and his or her injuries were not life-threatening.
The road is slick, and all vehicles except those with four-wheel drive and snow tires must have chains.
