NEVADA – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on East Prater Way near Probasco in Sparks early Tuesday morning, according to police.
The incident occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m.
According to police, the unidentified victim, a lady, was taken to a local hospital and ultimately died.
They claim she was in the crosswalk with her lights flashing when she was hit by an unknown color vehicle.
The inquiry required the closure of a large portion of Prater, which has subsequently reopened to normal traffic.
A Major Accident Investigation Team is presently looking into the incident.
