When a Suspect in Lyon County Almost Hit With a Deputy’s Patrol Cruiser, the Deputy Pulled Him Over and Ended Up Seizing a Substantial Quantity of Drugs
NEVADA – During a traffic check in Lyon County on Wednesday morning, a considerable quantity of drugs was seized when the suspect almost collided with a deputy’s patrol car.
When the deputy approached the driver, he observed that he was acting suspiciously, prompting a K9 to sniff the suspect’s vehicle.
Deputies discovered nearly 4 pounds of meth, 86.5 grams of fentanyl, 21.6 grams of cocaine, and 9.9 grams of heroin, as well as a stolen firearm and several narcotics distribution gear.
The unidentified suspect was placed into the Lyon County jail on counts of trafficking, controlled substances, an ex-con in possession of a handgun, and other offenses.
