RENO, Nev.- It’s one of the year’s biggest draws for downtown Reno’s hotels and casinos.
“We expect between 10 and 20 thousand,” said the event’s director, who asked to be known only as “Coach” for legal concerns.
The 2022 Street Vibrations fall rally is set for this weekend, and organizers will be spending the next few days preparing for it, with headquarters now placed on the Sands Regency’s south side.
The free event is available to all motorcycle makes and models, but Coach estimates that roughly 70% of them will be Harley Davidsons.
Aside from the motorcycles, the festival is also notable for its music, with tribute bands to AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Hank Williams Jr. performing throughout the week.
Slow bike races, full throttle experience, tattoo and beard competitions, and two poker runs will be held.
For many, the Denver Choppers will be a highlight.
The rally officially begins on Thursday and runs until Sunday afternoon.
