A two-and-a-half-year-old boy tragically died Thursday afternoon after falling from a window at an apartment complex in Sparks, Nevada.
Responding to the Incident
Sparks Police received a call shortly before 1:45 pm and arrived at the scene located at an Avenue of the Oaks apartment building. Officers and medical personnel immediately began life-saving measures on the child, but unfortunately, he was later pronounced deceased at Renown Regional Medical Center.
Investigation Underway
Initial investigations indicate the child was playing near an open window on an upper floor of the apartment when he fell. There are currently no pending charges as authorities continue their investigation.
