NEVADA – Two children were hospitalized on Sunday afternoon after being hit by a car in Lemmon Valley. The accident occurred at around 5:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Military Road and Mahon Drive. According to the Reno Police officers present at the scene, the children, aged 10 and 11, were riding an e-scooter when the accident occurred.
The children sustained injuries in the accident, but their condition is not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the car remained on the scene and is said to be cooperating with the authorities.
The police have stated that they do not believe speed or impairment played a role in the accident. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the authorities.
