NEVADA – The Washoe County School District has announced a two-hour delay for all schools, including those in Incline Village, on Monday, April 3. The delay is due to hazardous road conditions caused by inclement weather. Winter bus stops are now in effect.
The decision to delay school start times was made early Monday morning by school district officials in light of the treacherous driving conditions. As a result, students who take the bus to school will have to wait at bus stops later than usual.
Parents and drivers are being urged to exercise caution while driving near schools and school bus routes to avoid any potential accidents. The safety of the students is the top priority of the school district, and they will continue to monitor the situation to determine if any further action is needed.
In the meantime, the district is asking parents and students to stay alert for any updates regarding the status of school schedules.
