RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – From now through January 3rd, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office will dedicate additional patrols.
The increased patrols are part of the Joining Forces initiative, which aims to improve road safety in the county.
The WCSO expects to be able to better enforce these rules and save lives by raising public awareness of the consequences of poor decision making behind the wheel.
A Joining Forces grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety/Office of Traffic Safety made these extra patrols feasible.
